Steyn Acquitted in Canada, Such Prosecutions likely Future in an Obama U.S.
Dana Mathewson sends this piece of good news-Mark Steyn has been acquitted in the Canadian Sharia case.
For those who do not know, Steyn was accused of “flagrant Islamophobia“ by the Canadian Islamic Congress and was hauled before the Human Rights Commission of British Columbia, all becaused he quoted from a work of fiction he was reviewing (Robert Ferrigno’s novel, Prayers for the Assassin). Steyn explains the problems he has had here.
But for every Mark Steyn acquittal, how many people are being convicted for hurting the tender sensibilities of Moslems, revolutionaries, reprobates, etc.?
I would suggest that everyone remember what was done to our good friend Dr. Mullen at Cape Breton University (aka Comfortable Bed U.) in Nova Scotia; it`s clear that Canada is no longer a free nation in many fundamental ways. This Steyn victory appears to be more an aberration.
This is the future of the United States, if Barack Obama and his cadre win the election. Obama would LOVE to impose “human rights“ laws similar to those in Canada. How long before Rush Limbaugh is hauled before a tribunal of the politically correct inquisition?
